Nan joined staff as an office assistant in 2010 after volunteering for several years in the office, at funeral luncheons, and refilling the pew rack material. She still refills the pew racks and serves on the Fair Task Force. As an employee, she schedules the greeters, lay readers, communion servers and ushers for worship services. She also helps with clerical work and miscellaneous tasks around the building that Jeanie Pomplun, Office Administrator, needs help with. Nan enjoys her church friendships, and loves working with the staff and getting to know them as individuals. They are a great group who work hard to improve the health of the church, and the lives of the congregation and community. They strive to live out First Lutheran’s core values and vision. They are the best!
Nan has two beloved adult daughters and a son, plus a grandson who excels in math, building Lego kits, and turning cardboard into finger-skateboard ramps, and who cannot get enough of riding his scooter, bike or skateboard at a skate park. She cherishes spending time with her children and ex-tended family, and loves theater, especially musical theater, cruising with the girls, meals with friends, roaming rock and resale shops, concerts, a good fair, local festivals, cats and dogs, reading, crafts, and anything chocolate.
