As a church that is energized by lively engagement in our faith and life, First Lutheran proudly offers a variety of opportunities for children and youth to grow in and explore their faith as part of a lifelong journey of the Spirit sending them out in mission for the sake of the world.
Our Children, Youth and Family Ministries at First Lutheran Church seek to focus on intergenerational lifelong faith formation of Christian communities found in households, congregations and children-/youth-centered ministry opportunities.
Together in mission; marked, claimed, gathered and sent, our goal is to journey with you in faith formation, as our children learn to live out Jesus’ love.
At First, we desire to support families as they grow in faith together. In Sunday School, children learn about God and their faith, sharing the love of Jesus in their own lives each and every day.
Confirmation is designed to provide students with an opportunity to explore faith, worship, service, prayer, and Luther’s Catechism through activities, biblical training, and conversation
7-12TH GRADE
Youth Group
Youth Group meets Wednesday nights, 7-8:30pm. You can expect theme nights, games, a scripture message, small groups, and service nights. At youth group, we develop friendships and a deeper relationship with God who loves us.
